Athletic banquet today, so the writing lab is pretty uneventful. The atheltic banquet is an event that is an opportunity for tall, muscular, beautiful people to get all dolled up and win prizes together while the rest of us suffer from a severe inferiority complex. Us mere mortals don't like to eat in the small caf on those days because we are always made painfully aware of our general physical inadequacy and complete lack of contributory material to the greater human gene pool.
So I had my official "honors hearing" today in front of Drs. Austin, Underwood, O'Hare, and White, and I nearly soiled myself. They ended up being pretty harmless, but you never know that when you wake up at 4:30 in the morning just about ready to cry me a river. They gave me the official thumbs-up, so I am now feeling like I'm going to soil myself for totally different reasons.
Speaking of soiling oneself, there are only 13 days til I see the parentals again, and I can't wait. The Gambia... here I come!

About the Writer
Ah-reum's name is pronounced like the air you breathe and the rum you drink. She wakes up in the morning feeling like P. Diddy.
