A Few Hours with the Fam at the Beach (Yipee!)

It is next to impossible to get a free moment with my parents when we're at the center. Every second of the day there's always somebody needing something at the door. Even this morning, my dad was busy trying to uproot giant sticks out of the ground from Kembujeh for the new well we're digging on our compound (actually he really got Simon to pull them out of the ground, now that he's Mr. Studley).
I had to drive everyone there, and Buba came, except today he was drawing a dragon quietly in the backseat (he has a real artsy streak - he actually wants to help me paint the nursery school later when I get around to sketching it all out) instead of making animal noises like he usually does. He sat in the backseat all of yesterday with Obama and Musa and was squawking and screeching and grunting (he specializes mainly in types of monkeys). Obama insisted that my dad "make him a certificate!" Yeah, he's that good.
When we finally managed to get everything done at Kembujeh, we came back and went to the beautiful Leybato beach, or as we like to call it, the beachwiththehammocks.
Not only did we have poulet yassa that could make your salivary glands just want to shrivel up and die for joy, we also had this:
Could there be a more beautiful picture?
While we were at the beach, I found a stainless steel knife in the sand (?)
And also ran into a young boy who was being dragged around by a dog the size of a small bear. I think he was trying to wash him in the ocean water (?)
